Call for Submissions: Across the Spectrum

Clay on Main presents Across the Spectrum, a curated group exhibition juried by Alissa Roach (she/her). Roach is the Art Exhibitions Coordinator at the William Way LGBT Community Center. This exhibition will highlight the broad spectrum of the LGBTQ+ community and welcomes LGBTQ+ identifying artists and their allies to submit work celebrating the strength, joy, hardship, growth, and beauty of LGBTQ+ community. The human experience is varied and beautiful and the LGBTQ+ community exists as a component of that broad beauty of being alive. We are accepting 2D and 3D work of all mediums and artists may submit up to 3 works for consideration with a submission fee of $20. Submission fee can be paid via PayPal to clayonmain@gmail.com or sent via check made out to Clay on Main. Submissions are due May 12th via Google Form here. Opening reception 4-6 pm June 9th. Artist attendance is encouraged but not required. Register for the opening reception is not required but is available on Eventbrite.

Upcoming Youth Programs

Clay on Main is offering various youth programs this summer. Art Around the World is perfect for ages 7-12 and takes place from June 24th to 28th. Our Teen Art Intensive is for students ages 13-17 and takes place from July 8th to 12th. Each program is $275 per student with a limited enrollment. Teen Clay Club

Clay on Main is a non-profit art community and studio resource center.

We serve the local community with a variety of clay arts programs. We teach community classes and workshops in clay for adults and children, host professional workshops, collaborate with other non-profit organizations to offer learning opportunities through art, and hold public lectures and events. We house a cooperative gallery which serves as a venue for the display and sale of members’ and guest artists’ work. We also host the Half Moon Cafe, a venue for local musicians.
