Monoprinting is a type of printmaking that inspires an immediate, fresh approach, as each print is completely unique. JoAnn will show you how to make monoprints for greeting cards, to display, or to use in your collage and art work. We’ll be working with acrylic paints and gelatin plates and also exploring techniques to transfer images from printed material. We’ll create texture, pattern and interest in the prints using everything from stamps to things you find around the house or in nature.
