The Undercoats at the Half Moon Cafe
May 18, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$10.
The Undercoats debut CD, Save the Worm, is a “hook-driven pop-rock recording with a country rock glazing.” It perfectly helps audiences know what to expect in a live show: a great mix of lyrics delivered with tight vocal harmonies and instrumental playfulness. This Berks-County band has played with a few artists you might recognize (Stevie Wonder, Robert Hazard, Ian McLagan (Rolling Stones), Lou Gramm (Foreigner), Simon Kirke (Bad Company/Free),
Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Smokey Robinson, The Beach Boys, and Steely Dan). We are excited that they will be playing for us. The whole band cannot fit into the Half Moon with a Hammond organ and drum kit like they have at the Sellersville Theatre, The Fillmore, Building 24, and the March Chunk Opera House – but, lucky for us, the sub-sets of the band often perform in small venues. On May 18, one of those sub-sets will play the Half Moon Cafe.
The band:
Dennis Krause, lead vocals,
Charlie Eschbach, guitar
Dining Room – Blue Picket Fence (JoAnn, Amy, & Suzanne).
Show times run 8-10pm, dining room pre-show at 7:15pm. Please park in the church lot. $10 suggested donation.
