Creating a Fermentation Crock Workshop w/ Liz Wheeler- October 8th, 2016

fermentation crock 2Wild fermentation involves allowing natural processes to unfold, using gentle guidance on the part of the preparer. Airborne yeast settles on salted food and creates a delicious, pleasantly textured, side dish that is brimming with beneficial bacteria. We will create water-sealed crocks that allow for an almost care-free fermenting experience. The crocks, built of stoneware, will be waterproof, completely food-safe, and highly durable.

Instructor: Liz Wheeler $50 + $10 material cost
