Come create a luminous and functional work of art. Liz Wheeler will lead you through the process of using brightly colored glass to create simple patterns. All work is done at room temperature and is accessible to students ages 4 and up of all skill levels. Your creations will be fired and available for later pickup. Fused glass creations are utterly lovely with an inviting surface – you’re sure to be pleased!
$50 for adults, $30 for school aged children. Register at least one week prior to class to ensure enrollment. A full refund will be given for any cancelled workshops. All prices include materials. Unless otherwise noted, workshops are open to all ages, but children 12 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Creating arts and crafts is a wonderful way to spend time with friends and family. Clay on Main can schedule a time for your group to come out to our studio, where our skilled instructors will guide you through a simple and fun activity. In addition to enjoying some good company, you and your guests will learn and new skill and get to take home a beautiful handmade work of art. We can work in ceramics, fused glass, and felt, so you can choose the medium that suits you best. The fee is $20 per person for the two-hour session ($100 minimum), and includes materials. We’ve got a brand new class to offer!
If you’ve always wanted to try out GLASS, whether it be fused or stained glass, this is the perfect starter package. This class is geared towards the beginner, with an introduction into two methods of working. In four sessions you can expect to gain a better understanding of how to assemble a stained glass sun catcher as well as a simple fused glass piece. Clay on Main received a rural arts grant from the Berks Community Foundation to provide art opportunities for rural Berks County residents. Our first workshop was held at the Boyertown Multi-Service. Over 30 residents came out to our first intergenerational art event. More workshops throughout Berks County are planned for the spring.
