Learn how to make a T-shirt rag rug! Participants will learn how to make “yarn” from old T-shirts and then handcraft their own oval rug using the toothbrush knot method. No sewing is involved and a great way to re-purpose worn, stained, or extra shirts. Each participant will need a sharp sewing scissors and about 15 – 16 average size tee shirts for a small rug. Shirts should be seamless and not “ribbed”. You do NOT need to bring all T-shirts to the workshop; 5-7 should be fine. We will not be making the entire rug at the workshop; you get to finish at home.
