Art Talk
We are a group of visual artists seeking dialogue and exchange. We meet on the second Friday of each month at 7pm at Clay on Main, an art community and studio resource center in Oley, PA. We support, challenge, and inspire one another and share our creative gifts with the community and help one another grow as artists. If you have artwork you would like feedback on, please bring it. Collage with a Message
Learn some collage techniques and create a piece of art based on your favorite inspirational quote. Students should pick a quote and email it in advance to acondict@condictandco.com. Participants bring current felting projects to work on and/or share what they have completed. We learn and share skills with others of all skill levels. Some members have made hats, fingerless gloves, felted soaps, slippers, purses etc. Some of our members have shared their skills in Nuno felting, Penny Rug, drop spindle spinning, and needle felting. We meet on the first Saturday of each month from October to May. $5 donation Come join the fun this year!

Botany and Design Workshop
This workshop has been cancelled. The program will examine the enormous variability of leaf shape, structure, and arrangement, looking at live specimens and using some of them to print on paper and/or on cloth. Studying these patterns can be useful to people interested in identifying plants and to those who wish to employ plant patterns for decoration or in artistic compositions. Instructor: Dr. C. Precious Metal Clay Workshop w/ Elise Arnold- September 24th, 2016
This workshop will teach the basic techniques of working with silver PMC. We will create a personal talisman, approximately 1” x 1” using silver precious metal clay, stones, glass, and found objects. Make Your Own Ceramic Birdhouse- 4 Sessions
Come to Clay on Main for a four-week series leading you through the design and construction of a birdhouse. You’ll be guided step-by-step as you build a dwelling designed to attract wrens, chickadees, tree swallows, or house finches. Patchwork Doodles w/ Beth Glick
Believe it or not, a leisurely morning spent doodling, coloring and collaging can yield a finely crafted work of ready-to-hang artwork. Whether or not you think of yourself as able to draw, Beth will show you how to put all your meditative doodles to good use.
